Duke is my favourite! They always have a big selection of fresh Eastern European food and clean. What I like most of all is that staff is very friendly, competent, quick and always willing to answer your questions. It’s such a pleasure to visit this store! ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience at Duke Fine Foods! I ordered an in-store-made Kyiv Cake for Christmas and was absolutely in awe! It was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing – my Canadian family was so impressed!
Also, the store has an incredible selection of products you won’t find anywhere else. From multiple types of caviar to delicious ready-to-eat Ukrainian dishes, as well as great coffee (not a single coffee shop in Ottawa has raf coffee, my favorite coffee drink), there’s something for everyone. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, making my shopping experience absolutely amazing!
Overall, I highly recommend this grocery store to anyone looking for unique and delicious products. I’ll definitely be back!

This store with many Ukrainian products, which we miss so much, is truly amazing. It’s always clean, beautifully organized, and offers fresh products. You can always find those beloved Ukrainian items here. It’s a place you want to keep coming back to. The staff are always smiling and welcoming. The interior is modern and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended!

An amazing selection of deli meats, cheeses, freshly cut for you OR pre-packaged to go! Also, freshly made and customized deli sandwiches, specialty coffee and dessert to sit and enjoy in store. There is a large portion of meat and cheese in the tasty sandwich (at the reasonable price of $8.95)! Add a cappuccino, latte or gelato from the menu for a satisfying lunch. Made to order sandwiches/coffee are located at the counter at the back of the store. Great selection of packaged teas, condiments, candies and specialty goods which would make a great gift basket for a foodie or to take home to enjoy

Duke’s has changed a lot since opening because they’re always growing their services and products.
I finally got a sandwich! One of the better sandwiches in the Ottawa area, with an affordable price of $8.95 each (March 2024). They could use some more topping options, like sun dried tomatoes, banana peppers, artichoke dip, or sauerkraut, but it still has decent toppings. More sauces than Dijon mustard and mayo would be really great, like a spicy mayo, pesto, or pesto mayo. Ultimately, it is quite good and I recommend it.

People seem to love Nocastro’s but I was underwhelmed there. Duke’s is definitely the better sandwich choice.

I can’t give it 5 stars because the best European Deli I’ve been to is Vincenzo’s in Kitchener ON, and it’s just a level above.
