Banh Mi Haven

Absolutely amazing bánh mì! The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way it should be. The fillings were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The balance of savory meats, pickled veggies, and herbs was spot on.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even during busy hours. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. This is hands down one of the best bánh mì spots I’ve tried — I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Had it for takeout when a friend got two for me. Got to have the classic and bbq pork. I think both were good, the bread was almost flaky like with a good crust. I really liked it since it wasn’t two dense. Def worth going to try if youre in the area.

No frills stop for Bahn mi. We were looking for somewhere to get bahn mi and this spot came up in our search. We took the bus and got confused at first because we didn’t know where exactly the store was but it’s actually inside the cake shop. Note that the place is cash only but all of their breads and ingredients are made in house. The bun is very tasty, not crusty as other banh mi shops have and they give generous amounts of meat for its price. We will definitely be visiting again.

This is our family’s favourite Banh Mi shop in Kanata/Ottawa. They are a family-owned and operated business. Super friendly and accommodating. They make and bake their breads on-site so it’s fresh daily. It is located inside of a bakery which is neat. They are opened only from Thurs-Sat which is too bad. We love it here none the less. Our kids love the Banh Mi at this shop only and have requested that we visit every weekend after swimming so we have to comply. :). We highly recommend Banh Mi Haven! Please give them a shot and you’ll see the difference in not only the freshness, the taste, the service, and the reasonable price! They currently only accept cash or e-transfer which is becoming the norm these days for most newly established businesses.

I found out about this place from Facebook and loved it ! Such great quality of ingredients, fully packed . I went home and threw in the air fryer and it’s perfection . I got the classic for myself and the bbq pork for my hubby . Both were delicious and generous portions .

Definitely the best Banh Mi in Kanata. It’s moderately priced compared to local competitors and it’s fresh – made in house.

Only open Thursday to Saturday from 9:30 until they are sold out. I highly recommend going early or pre-order. They only accept cash or E-transfer.

I had the BBQ pork. It had a satay like marinade. It was very tasty. I’m excited to try the other 2 flavours next time. The other 2 options are Deli Meats, and Pork Floss. There is an option to add chilli if you like heat.

If you want a delicious quick meal, Banh Mi Haven is the way to go 👍🏻
