Tava Turkish Cuisine

This Turkish restaurant was recommended by a friend, and we finally came to try it. We were absolutely blown away by how delicious everything was. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic—every bite was a real treat. I have to mention the chicken breast was so juicy and tender! The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back often, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great Turkish food!

This is by far one of the best Turkish spots in town. The portions are good size and it’s actually made fresh by the Turkish owner and his family.

If you get the chance, try the Antep Kebab and for desert try the pistachio Dolama with a gazouz (soft drink).

Service is excellent and always with a smile.

First time trying Tava. The service was very poor unfortunately. There was only one server working a Friday night who was taking orders, cooking and filling online orders. Food came out rather quickly. Unfortunately half the meal was missing because the server forgot that we ordered the other items. The lentil soup wasn’t my style. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The rice was salty and cooked. The salad was average. Would have benefitted from a line of sauce on top of the chicken/rice to make it a little less dry together. The restaurant was well decorated but felt very cold temperature wise inside. The bathroom was clean-ish with a bidet. Don’t think I’d go back.

I’m really glad that my niece suggested that we try TAVA TURKISH CUISINE. It’s indeed a gem that’s so close to our home. It has a very cozy, quiet and relaxing environment where we can enjoy excellent Turkish food with family. We started with Mezze Trio with the best flatbread in town and the sauces are so good! We also have Lamacun which is more flavorful than that from other Turkish restaurants. We enjoyed TAVA mix kebab for two. It has a generous portion which can easily feed 5 people. I particularly love the chicken in it which is so tender and flavorful! It was such a pleasure meeting Chef Fatih who makes our meal very enjoyable and he served us complimentary Turkish tea and delicious baklava. The tea is very good and is not too strong nor bitter. It’s just perfect! Elif, who’s our server is very friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a very nice dining experience with excellent Turkish food. We’ll be sure to come back again.

This was an unforgettable experience, we got the Mixed Kebab for 2-3 people. If you are hungry alot I’d say its good for 2 people otherwise 3 is alright. Everything on the grill platter tastes amazing, I’ve tried all the Turkish restaurants in ottawa and this Adana kebab is my favorite ❤️‍🔥 Everything was cooked to perfection and served very quickly! We (3 people) enjoy every bit of it with some nice Turkish tea. The cheese and spinach pide is one of my favorites. I started eating that with the kebab from the platter. I personally love Sutlac and their one was so good. Highly recommend!

This is Turkish food exactly like you would have it at one of the alley restaurants in the streets of Istanbul.

The food flavors are exquisite, the dishes are beautifully presented, the desserts are decadent, and the atmosphere is simple yet welcoming. The service is exceptional, very attentive and genuinely friendly.

I would highly recommend Tava. It truly deserves all the positive reviews it has.
