The Hintonburg Public House

This strikes me as such an Ottawa place. In a historical building in the centre of Hintonburg on Wellington, seems to have loyal customers, very friendly waiters and unpretentious. The perfect spot to stop by for a warming meal after a ski or a skate. We went for brunch, the risotto croquettes were delicious, the soup was very nice, the classic breakfast was perfect. Reasonable price and didn’t take too long for the food to arrive.

A great “Neighborhood” pub serving local and international beers and foods! It’s a great spot for a cosy “tête à tête” or a group celebration. A nice varied menu ensures there’s something for everyone. There’s even seating at the bar! Follow their website for events and specials. The decor is eclectic yet cosy and warm, making you feel like you’re part of neighborhood!

This pub does a great impression of old style pub. The food is great, the service was great. The side of waffles was small but they were cheap.

I visited HPH on Saturday for brunch. The service was warm and great, food was beyond my expectation. Spicy sausage (side dish) was also delicious. Nice cozy place for gathering!

Such a lovely place! The atmosphere is cozy and thoughtfully themed, with great attention to detail. There are no old or unpleasant smells inside — everything feels fresh and clean. I was greeted by a very friendly girl with golden hair 😉. My sandwich was absolutely delicious and came out super fast. A great spot in Hintonburg — I’ll definitely be back!
