Delicious, fresh and thoughtfully prepared Vietnamese cuisine! The shrimp with fried egg and rice dish and the seafood pho were so flavourful, well balanced and beautifully presented. The iced Vietnamese coffee was fantastic. Kind and attentive service at this inviting restaurant. This was our second visit and we’ll be back again soon!

Phò is one of our family’s favourite dishes. We decided to try this restaurant this Nov 9 as it appears in the better rated options on Google. Our experience was…ok overall. The broth was on the lighter side, and the taste was average if you’ve been places. I could also tell the noodles were just 2-3 mins overcooked. The portions were a bit less that what we’re used to but it wasn’t small by any standards as we were fully satisfied with the regular size.
Nothing to say about the imperial rolls we had for appetizers, they were crispy and well made. But we were there for the noodles.

The location, service, and atmosphere are all great, but in my opinion, the food is lacking. While the food at the old Phos on Somerset street might look a bit “trashier,” it tastes better and it’s more flavourful. Surprised this place is 4.8 on Google reviews

Clean, quiet, affordable, and delicious — the best pho restaurant I’ve found in Ottawa so far. I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere; it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend!

Excellent casual Vietnamese restaurant in Wellington West. I had the beef and shrimp vermicelli and it was delicious. Large juicy shrimp and lots of slices of flavourful lean tender beef. I got peanut sauce instead of fish sauce and it was phenomenal. Lots of fresh colourful vegetables in the dish: lettuce, carrots, cucumbers and red cabbage (I asked for no bean sprouts).

Service was polite and I didn’t have up wait long for my food.

I hope they will add an option for chicken and beef vermicelli.

Looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

This space has changed restaurants quite a few times over the last 5 years. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The screens are weird, and the table sizes are a bit strange. The food is good..but the service is not. They are VERY inexperienced. They forgot my drink order (I had to remind them, then go to the cash to GET IT), and they forgot our waters.. It wasn’t even busy. Then, as they were closing some blinds, they let them drop loudly behind us. It was jarring, unprofessional and rude. They need more training and better employees before I go back.

We have now been to Phở Việt Noodle for 3 separate dinner visits — and we have left wonderfully-satisfied every single time. Indeed, this new Vietnamese restaurant is one of the best in the city.

The broth (both beef and chicken) has always been rich, deep and balanced — never too salty or overpowering. And at the end of each meal, you feel full, satiated, but never uncomfortable.

Also, the venue itself is spacious and modern; and the staff have been attentive. And we have tried various items from the menu: the beef broth, the chicken broth, the appetizers as well as the main dishes — all excellently-prepared!!

I highly recommend this restaurant. I wish them continued success and I know that I will be back for another bowl of soup very soon.
