La Roma

Booked two weeks in advance for dinner on Valentine’s Day. There was no mention anywhere on their website – or via email -of the original menu on their website changing last minute to a prix fixe menu. We had to choose from 1 app, 1 main, and 1 dessert, for a fixed rate (which appeared to be overpriced compared to some of the same items off the website menu). Their calamari portion was ridiculouslyyyyyy small, HALF the size of what we saw someone receiving 9 months ago on their reviews. The main was a mountain of mashed potatoes and specifically 2 broccolini pieces, 2 beets, 2 pieces of kale and a very small 5oz steak medallion. For dessert, we selected a tart. NOT worth $115 total for one person at all, that’s why we decided to share. I’m especially upset for the inconvenience after reviewing their website all week and looking forward to other items we couldn’t have. The server was great, but lack of communication and transparency ISN’T okay. Overall, food prices were steep just because it was Valentine’s: food portions unbalanced. Wouldn’t book here on a special occasion again unfortunately. We had high hopes.

The zucchini sticks were probably the best I have ever had, followed by a fresh Caesar salad, chicken parmigiana, and a yummy cannoli to close it out. All were excellent.

The food was all amazing! Highly recommend the lamb, it really was done perfectly 👌 Nice interior with plenty of seating to accommodate large groups!

Chef Ian made one amazing meal! Perfectly made zucchini flower bites to start followed by proper-seasoned olives, risotto balls and a few slices of fresh bread. Was very impressed with the ravioli and gnocchi while having a great family outing. Service was regular and always friendly. Look forward to the next time!

We had the pleasure of hosting our son’s wedding at La Roma last week. This was a success beyond our expectations. The location on the second floor was perfect to receive 36 of our closest friends and family. We had access to a bar upstairs and also a balcony to enjoy the beautiful summer night. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed the different dishes that the restaurant prepared for us. If you are looking for a quaint, professional and personal venue La Roma is the place for you.
