Little Mac’s

Surprisingly busy at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, but it’s a small place so I guess people know to go early.

The food was exactly what a smash burger should be! 10/10. No notes.

I ordered the fried chicken only to realized it was RAW. I placed the order through uber eats, and when I called the restaurant to tell them they gave me raw chicken, they told me they couldn’t do anything about it, and that I had to contact uber eats instead. This is totally unacceptable. I had only realized after I had already taken a bite and ended up getting food poisoning!! This was back in 2024 but I realized I had never left a review.

If you haven’t ordered in from Little Mac’s yet, I highly recommend it! Absolutely delicious beef and portobello burgers and fries. The green bean side was excellent too.

Ordered the chicken & waffles, and it was quite disappointing. The dish looked nothing like the photos — it came with just one small piece of chicken, barely seasoned, honestly nothing tasty at all. It reminded me of the COVID days when I couldn’t taste anything.

For $25, we expected something much better. Instead, it was mostly a big pile of fries, a waffle, and a tiny piece of chicken. Definitely not worth the price. Could prepare something muuuuch better at home 🙁

Quite pricy but great selection and I love the small quiet atmosphere, there was only one person working but he was very kind and fast with service. Ordered a burger with fries and I loved the mayo and onions, the fries were really good as well, nice and crispy. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t mind spending a bit more than average.

Love this old-school, no nonsense burger place. Really enjoyed toppings on my free range bacon cheeseburger. Nice skinny fries. Bf got brisket bun and it was a generous portion and yummy. Cool retro decor inside. Hope this neighbourhood gem sticks around forever!
