Restaurant le voyage culinaire

I came across this gem of a restaurant a couple of weeks ago. I was asked to chauffeur my young adult son and his girlfriend to their first weekend trip away, and so I planned a wellness escape for myself. On the second night, I was asked if I could drive my son and company to the casino around 10pm, and then I went on an adventure to find food. Nearby there was easy McDonald’s or harveys and i decided to google nearby places instead as I prefer homemade and new experiences while traveling… this place had a very clear 5 star review from so many, so I gave it a shot. I was a little nervous, as it was later at night and I was solo, in an unfamiliar place and the safer bet in my mind was a drive thru… but I decided to just go for it… what an absolutely warm welcome. My French is a little rusty, but I managed to have a wonderful conversation with the owner, who takes much pride in his restaurant. He gave me my pop on the house, and the french taco was delicious. I highly suggest giving this place your business. You wont be disappointed! 10 stars!!!

Amazing restaurant. I arrived one minute after closing and they still served me with a smile. The tacos were incredible — real flavour, fresh ingredients, and genuinely some of the best I’ve had. Honestly, I believe this is the best taco spot in Ottawa/Gatineau.

I understand this restaurant has NO poor reviews and mine is the only one, so I want to acknowledge my experience could definitely be a one off. I took ONE bite of a sandwich from here – and woke up miserably ill the next morning. I am STILL unwell days later. As somebody who does NOT tolerate food poisoning, I will not be coming back here. No idea what went wrong, but owners should definitely check to make sure ingredients and employee hygiene are okay.

Brought my fiancee to this restaurant so she can discover food from around the world and it was just Delicious, staff is nice, good portion of food. Got the chicken breast with cream and it was fantastic and their lentils soup amazing as well. Totally recommend this place.

We visited Ottawa on a whim and needed dinner at 9pm. This place was open and close to our hotel. The food is fusion but amazing. Everything tasted so good. We had fries, a burger, French tacos (which I would not call a taco), chicken with rice and salad and a couple other items. The only thing better than the food was the service. We do not speak French and the staff was so helpful. Ryan helped us with the orders and even gave some advice on places for sight seeing. Definitely visit this place if you want to try some unique and delicious food with friendly staff.
