A wonderful dining experience as always. Friendly service, amazing food and ambiance. I have been coming here for many years for both lunch and dinner as well as takeout. Food is always great.

This had been a restaurant I’d been wanting to try for the past several years. I really wanted to like it and I thought it was okay, but not spectacular. The food was good, maybe a bit on the salty side. The decor is a bit darker/warm themed, restaurant and clearly the restaurant has been around for a while, but everything still felt clean and in decent shape. Our waiting staff was attentive and patient with us.

I wish they had a bit more flexibility with their menu. For example, we were hoping to add a bit of veggies on the side, but all their vegetable dishes were full size plates. Over all, the restaurant gives a dated vibe. It gives me the impression that it had been very popular 10 years ago, with practices standard to that time, but doesn’t seem to be updating with the passage of time.

Sukhothai is an absolute hidden gem! If you have not been yet, you are missing out. The Thai food is incredibly delicious, portions are generous and dishes are made with fresh ingredients bursting with traditional flavors.

This is a family-owned restaurant, and you can truly feel the love and authenticity in every dish. The service is just as amazing, friendly, attentive, and warm, making every visit a pleasure.

We came to this restaurant for lunch. If you arrive before noon, you can have your pick of any table (but between 12:30 and 1 would be some wait as all the tabels filled up). The staff was polite and efficient to get you seated, took your orders and probed for your billing preference. The Pad Thai was decent but didn’t blow me away. Prices were unreasonable ($19.50 for lunch and $29.50 for regular price) and portion was small regardless what price you paid.

🔔 I was very disappointed at the lack of transparency with the staff here. My friend and I are vegetarian and asked for some exclusions on our Pad Thai dish (no meat, no eggs) – standard courtesy for restaurants to accommodate normally. Although they accommodated, they charged us regular Pad Thai price of $29.50 vs lunch price of $19.50 (and didnt even call it out). Again, there was no portion difference for an extra $10. Another friend ordered regular Pad Thai and had same portion as us but paid the lunch price and a soup. I will not support an establishment where integrity isn’t in their values so no repeat business for me. I rarely give 1-star but this place is quite something.

Update 10/9/2024: My friend called to inquire about the pricing discrepancy and the alleged owner was quite condescending and didn’t seem apologetic nor care.
Update 10/10/2024: Wrote them an email and they ignored it.

Friendly reliable service and great freshly made food in Bells Corners. The chicken curry with potatoes is my favorite! A lovely flavor profile. A small restaurant but accepts reservations. It is quite busy at weekday lunch with the reduced price of the specials which offer a full meal, including soup starter and small salad on the side of the plate (I had leftovers) speedy service so you can get back to work. Dinner is more relaxed and we each order one dish and share! Generous portions for leftovers!
