Hintonburg Market

A great little spot. I especially love buying meat here – some really yummy sausage and burger options (including gluten free options!) as well as frozen local lean ground beef that I love. Really friendly staff too!

This is my favourite grocery store in Hintonburg (possibly all of Ottawa.) Good quality meat and produce, lots of local options, and a little bit of everything. Staff are always so friendly. Love this place so much.

We feel so fortunate to have this store in our neighborhood. We can not say enough about their pre made meals, such as the pesto pasta with portobello mushrooms, tuna pasta salad with pees, beef stew, the chilli, the flank steak with mashed sweet potatoes and other vegetables, and the beef and mushroom pasta. There are more, so many offerings. They are not cheap but fairly priced, not excessive and all are such high quality. Really nutritious and delicious. The staff are all wonderful. We really love the Hintoburg Market.

A great spot in the neighbourhood to get everything you need! Love their ready meals! And that they carry Whitakers chocolate.

We had last-minute guests that were coming for dinner, so on a whim, I decided to call the Market to see if they had any pork belly as I was going to make an Italian style Porchetta.
I went into the butcher area and met with Brad who showed me what they had and custom cut and trimmed a piece of pork belly specifically as I needed. This type of service with butchers are a few and far between in Westboro and the great service of the staff with the very reasonable prices of their products, makes it my new favourite place in our neighbourhood.
