Smoked Royale

I called in to Smoked Royale for a quick bite to eat for lunch, before my haircut next door at Hairfellas. I’m so glad I arrived early for my haircut or I would have missed this place. I now live in Ireland and was back for the holidays. If you Ottawatarians, haven’t tried this place, get yourself down there and experience some of the best smoked meat, I’ve ever had. Fantastic. I just had the basic sandwich and a bottle of water, as I was pressed for time. The two lads that working were very polite and friendly, and the place is spotless. One of the fellas asked if I wanted to try a lentil soup they had just made. Well, if you’re not a smoked meat person, go down for the soup, its out of this world. This place is a gem. I’ll definitely be back before I head back to Ireland, and next time I’m back. 1000% Recommended.

Best Montreal style smoked meat in Ottawa. Roast Beef sandwich is a highlight, as well as their poutine. Great staff. Entire menu is halal!

What a fantastic experience. Brady, Makita & Sigh we’re incredibly professional and kind. Great atmosphere, smell of smoked perfection and wonderful staff!

The smoked meat was mouth-watering, melt in your mouth. Deliciousness! They gave my kids a free sample to taste, we had to get the family platter 1.5Lbs of smoked meat. They were even kind enough to include gluten-free rye for my wife.

Can’t wait to go back to Smoked Royale🥰 An absolute MUST TRY on Wellington Street!!!!

This was my second time at this location, and already I feel extremely inclined to post a review. The food is fresh and delicious, portions are large and the establishment is clean and cozy.

I’m not sure if the owner or manager helped me out, whoever he was you could tell there was much pride in the work. I’ll definitely be back soon!
