Solomon’s Oven

Amazing food! Someone recommended Solomon’s Oven and I finally had a chance to try. Freshly baked and delicious. Service was very warm and friendly. Will definitely e returning!

Solomon’s Oven is easily one of the best spots in Ottawa for authentic Middle Eastern food. The flavors are incredibly rich and well-balanced — you can tell everything is made fresh and with care. The manakish is perfectly baked, the toppings are generous, and the dough has that ideal soft-but-crispy texture.

The ingredients taste high quality, and the portions are very satisfying for the price. Service is fast, friendly, and welcoming — you feel like you’re walking into a family kitchen.

Highly recommended. Had the Meat pie and the Cheese pie and I have to say that these are the best pies I had in Ottawa. The taste is amazing and the presentation is awesome. Solomon is a great host. You won’t be disappointed. This is my first visit and it won’t be the last. A must try.

I just got a zaatar + veggie for takeout, not really sure what it was going to be but OMG! It is SO GOOD! Fast and very nice & kind service too. I will absolutely be coming back here for lunches in the future! Prices are really good too. I’m excited to try the boat on their menu next time 👀

So happy to have found a taste of home in my neighbourhood! Lebanese/Levant classics, like meat, cheese, zataar, labneh pies/manakeesh and saj – and so much more. My favourite: the cheese pie, the zataar is delicious, the meat is so flavourful and seasoned perfectly. Perfect for quick snacks, lunch to-go, or even an easy brunch spot. Also tried their knafe, it was delicious. They have a large menu and everything is made by hand and from scratch. Family run! Lebanese music makes it feel like home, the decor is also beautiful, the staff is welcoming and the flavours and quality is 10/10. Highly recommend 🙂 I will be back.
