The Merry Dairy

Amazing little corner ice cream shop. Need more of these little shops. Kudos to the owners for making htis place happen. Have brought my kids here multiple times. Recently a friend ordered some mint flavored custard cakes for a birthday. Very rich and flavorful!

We came here on a cool Friday evening and the line was down the street… so we went around the side to the window where you can buy pints and got ice cream there. We got pumpkin spice, cotton candy, and cinnamon sugar. First time having their ice cream and found it to be very good. Not overly sweet. Flavors were just right in their intensity. Certainly recommend!

Well renown as the best ice cream in the city. About a dozen ice cream by the scoop, at least half of which are vegan. No dyes or other crap used in making it either. On this day the soft serve was available out back in a truck. The fridge is also packed with frozen treats and the ice cream sandwiches look amazing.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is by far the VERY BEST ice cream place I’ve ever tried across every country I’ve been to. The amount of effort and passion that The Merry Dairy staff and owners put into their ice cream flavours and ingredients is beyond phenomenal.

You can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients they use, they diversify and change up their flavours while still maintaining perfect harmony and balance for each new flavour and their vanilla frozen custard is out of this world!

I just wish they could franchise while maintaining their top notch quality that I admire so deeply. I’m writing my review from Qatar right now cause that’s how much I’ve missed this place 💛

A nice neighbourhood ice cream shop! It’s great to support local when you can!

There was a bit of a line but it went pretty fast. Lots of flavours to choose from. I had Trash Panda and it’s not a flavour I ever experienced at any other ice cream place.

Quite a few vegan options, which is nice. I’m not vegan but it’s nice for vegans to have ice cream options.

Parking is challenging. Just street parking that’s available.
