We had a wonderful experience yesterday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and everything was prepared with great care. You can really feel the passion and effort behind this place. Thank you to the owners and the whole team for the excellent service and hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

I went to Tirweka last night to grab dessert with some friends. As soon as we walked through the door, we were met with instant hostility. We tried asking the Arab worker about the desserts but we kept on getting met with rude and dismissive one word answers and an obnoxious smirk. It might be because we only got desserts but does not give anyone the right to be rude to customer like that. Businesses like this think they can treat people how they want and entitled to customers. Just treat customers with some damn respect. Of course, when a bunch of white customers came in, the Arab worker went above and beyond acting overtly nice. The food was decent but it tasted bad due to how rude the guy is. We waited over 30 minutes for the food too. NEVER COMING BACK! ABORT!!!!!

Delicious Iraqi food, the lamb liver was delicious as well. Love the decor and love supporting family owned restaurants. Owners are lovely people and really care to make beautiful food.

Tirweka is a fantastic spot with a menu that really stands out. We tried a mix of dishes, including the grilled meatand veggies, everything was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly seasoned. The meats were tender and well-marinated, and the portions were generous. The wraps and platters came with delicious sides, fresh salads, and tasty sauces that tied everything together really well.

The menu has a great balance of classic favourites and comforting options, making it easy to find something for everyone. Their hummus and sides were especially good and clearly made fresh.
Service was friendly and welcoming, with staff happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations. The restaurant is clean, relaxed, and has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
If you’re in Kanata and looking for quality food, great value, and genuine hospitality, Tirweka is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Ottawa! The food is delicious, fresh, and healthy! They clearly use high quality ingredients. This is a family business and you can tell they are passionate about serving yummy food and fantastic service. This restaurant is very nice inside, definitely a place where you can sit down and enjoy a meal. The decor is beautiful and everything is very clean. They have a good variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The best falafel I’ve ever had was from here; it was perfectly crispy and soft on the inside. I only have good things to say about Tirweka!

My friend and I really wanted to try this place we even drove from Rockland that day for it because of everyone saying good things about it on social media.. the atmosphere was very impressive not going to lie loved the vibe and the music. Service wasn’t to bad but I’ve been in costumer service for over 10 years and I would have asked hows the food and checked in especially when I see the food isn’t being eaten. The food was zero out of ten honestly the meat had a sand texture and it smelt so bad very very zinikh we also had the Kebbeh also lacking flavour , spices and very zinikh as well. The pizza thing was supposed to be a boat shape with sausage on it instead there was very lightly sliced meat in it there was no taste just cheese. The kaak .. I was so disappointed to see it very small and dry not fluffy at all wasn’t fresh at all .. for the quality and quantity of food the price wasn’t worth it at all .. as a middle eastern I was very disappointed because even the coffee was watered down .. would I return ? Nope would I recommend? Nope
