Tried Kuma for the first time as we were in the area. We ordered the tonkotsu, hellfire spicy ramen and the karaage curry rice. The kitchen made the katsu curry instead so they left us keep the katsu and brought out some karaage on the side.
The karaage was not the traditional japanese coating. Not light and crispy, but on the crunchier side. The curry sauce tasted like the Japanese cubed curry boxes you can buy.
The ramen broths were decent but I would prefer sansotei over this spot.
Service was good, server brought out some stickers for my daughter :).
Overall it’s not bad, but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here.
