Ayla’s Social Kitchen

Came here with my spouse for a impromptu new years eve dinner and we were both pleasantly surprised! Love the little corner booths and the food was delish! The brie was amazing!! def coming back 🙂

Had an amazing meal last night at Ayla’s! Was so impressed with the service and hospitality. We were there for my friend’s birthday and the staff even made a point to give her a birthday card signed by all of the staff. I had the lamb shank which was delicious. The recommendations given by the chef were amazing, especially the cheesecake (not yet on their menu). Drinks and wine were also delicious.

Had a very good experience at Ayla’s! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lebneh appetizer and the marinated chicken entree. The Spanish rice under the chicken is the best rice dish I’ve had. And I will think about that lebneh for a long time. I also loved that the owner came to our table to check on our experience. Great service and very friendly! I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant!

Had dinner here last night for the first time and wow! The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Had the halloumi fries for an appetizer, followed by Ayla’s kebab, beef brisket and garlic shrimp and panna cotta for dessert. Highly recommend all of these dishes! I will definitely be coming back!

It’s always fun to try a new restaurant in Ottawa. I was fortunate to have made a reservation last evening at Ayla Social Kitchen on Preston. The reviews I read before booking were all positive and I was heading here really intending on getting the lamb shank as it looked out of this world. Arrived and met the owner – Amir who was working. You know it’s always going to be a treat & a great experience when it’s an owner / operator type experience. Amir put together a beautiful recommendation for us paired with a nice Moroccan wine (neither of us had ever tried Moroccan wine before and it was excellent). The meal was fabulous, great service and presentation. It’s a smaller restaurant and just the right vibe and feeling for a great night out with a friend. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Will be back and would recommend trying this great restaurant if exploring options in Ottawa
