The lentil soup was an absolute dream — silky smooth, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly comforting. Every spoonful tasted homemade, rich, and full of warmth, with just the right balance of spices. It’s the kind of soup that instantly makes you feel cozy and satisfied.

The crispy shawarma plate was next-level delicious. Perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside, paired with creamy garlic sauce, fresh salad, flavorful potatoes, and tangy pickles. Every bite was a perfect mix of textures and bold, satisfying flavors.

On top of the incredible food, the place is spotless and extremely clean, which makes the experience even better. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.

Ottawa Shawarma has become our go-to shawarma spot, even though we have a few options closer to home, it’s definitely worth the drive. I always order the saj, and the portion size is great for the price. We usually dine in, and this photo shows what was left after I’d already eaten a full portion. To top it off, the service is great!

Regular and very clean dine in, but Saaj bread is so good, super crispy, flavourful and fresh. Chicken is moist not dry. The serving is actually big. Worth the drive.

You won’t find a better shawarma in Nepean guaranteed! The attention to detail at this restaurant has earned the respect of all the blue collar workers nearby.

I recommend the crispy saj with hummus, garlic sauce, tabouli, onions, pickles, their homemade habanero sauce, and pomegranate molasses. I like snacking on the pickled turnips, it tastes very fresh here.

The staff are so generous… you better come with an empty stomach or some tupperware.

The portions are veryyy generous & filling. I tried the chicken Saj meal and really loved that the chicken was fresh & not dry.
The service was also quite quick (given the rush hour time) & friendly 🙂
Overall highly recommend & definitely one of the top shawarmas in the city !
