Mr Laziz subs&shakes

It is definitely hard to find especially when the sign is covered by snow but look at the sign in the window that says 868 ☺️ it is definitely worth all the time i spent looking for the place!! I knew the place from the instagram foodreviewsnearme or the ‘Ottawa’ guy 😁 and the way he was crunching those crispy chicken made really want to try it out!! The food is amazing, the place is super clean, if cleanliness had a smell it would be their kitchen, the owners are amazingly friendly, courteous, and have a generous spirit!! The trick is to order ahead of time, because they make everything fresh and per order, so it takes time to prep but again worth all the wait. The portions are big especially compared to the price!! This is my new favorite place for quick tasty food when I’m not cooking!! Once you try it, you’ll become a regular, trust me!! I ordered Philly steak ( the caramelized onion, cheese, steak.. i wish you can post the smell or taste)..Francisco was so juicy, the chicken was so tender, a simple sandwich yet so tasty and full of flavors!! And finally, the chicken crispy, with crunchy fries and coleslaw, let me tell you they were gone in minutes!!

also delicious milkshakes!! i love the generous portion sizes too. and the service is top notch. definitely recommend this place if you want good food and quality service 🙂

A hole in the wall with delicious takeout food run by lovely people who engage sincerely with their customers. It’s just a little bit hard to find the first time: park by the sign, go up the stairs and let them know your there from the hallway. They will take orders at the door, however it’s better to order ahead as they prepare everything fresh and on a busy night the wait can be 40+ minutes. It is worth the wait though, and there is no seating.
My Swiss sub was on a fresh bun with lots of meat, cheese and very flavourful sauces. It was delicious. French fries are a must as they are spiced and flavourful. Hubs rated his Phillidelphia sub as excellent. The whole experience was great.

This is my second day in a row, I had to come back for their sojouk sandwich, the best in the city! I also got to try their crispy chicken tender and oh my their Swiss mushroom steak sub was too good!! Their mango and lotus shakes were bomb. Tried Mr. Laziz with friends and brought subs home for my boys! WOW! We can all agree that these are the best subs we’ve ever had. Super fresh, unreal house sauces, and everything made with so much love. We’ll definitely be back!
