Mary Brown’s Chicken

The food is so good, fresh and cheap. I find myself eating ther 4 times per week. The place is always kept clean and the service is fast. Told my friend about it and they loved it! The employees are so sweet too, they treat us like family certainly that my friends and i are regulars now!

We ordered from Mary Brown’s through Uber Eat, the 13-piece feast, fries, and coleslaw. The total was $95. Since food is expensive now, especially through delivery, we paid the premium for all white meat, expecting a good portion of breast pieces. Instead, eight out of the 13 pieces were wings. Essentially, we paid $95 for wings.

When we tried to resolve this, Uber Eats offered no help. We then contacted the restaurant directly. The staff member who answered was polite but unable to make decisions. She connected with management, and it quickly became clear they had no interest in making things right. We were told our only option was to bring the food back to the store for them to “inspect” it, or wait until the next day to hear back. Neither option is reasonable for a $95 order that was blatantly mishandled.

The food may taste good, but the customer service and management response are appalling. We were dismissed, left without a resolution, and treated as if our concerns didn’t matter. Absolutely do not order from this location unless you’re prepared to be ignored when something goes wrong

Mary Brown’s is my favorite fried chicken 🍗. Especially with the Batter’s Box special.

Ordered the 6 piece Bautista Batter Box meal. Came with a medium taters, medium gravy and two biscuits.

The biscuits are sweet for split second, and then salt. Better with butter(what isn’t).

Taters are always enjoyable here. Thick cut with plenty of potatoe, as opposed to fried bits with no filling. Nicely seasoned.

“Fried” chicken is good. Better than KFC and not oily like popeyes but also not crispy like popeyes. The batter box came with 4 breasts and two drumsticks.

I had to try the Bautista sauce. I recommend trying it before it’s gone. It’s slightly spicy, smoky, and a tad sweet. I’m surprised they haven’t made a sandwich with it yet.

The one thing I will recommend that you skip, is the Mash Up Bowl. Tastes like instant potatoes with gravy, and artificial onion flavor. Stay away from it unless that’s exactly what you’re looking for. $5.99+tax for disappointed.

The service was quick, and thanks to Dimple, I didn’t miss out on my reward points. I had forgotten but she asked before I paid.

The potato wedges were great, but the chicken had disappointingly soggy skin and was not at all crispy. 😔
The chicken seemed like it was good quality with good flavor, but was left way too long under a heat lamp, I was hoping it would be more fresh, especially for the high price! 😕
On top of that, the cashier could barely speak or understand English or French, which made ordering unnecessarily difficult.
