Melaku Ethiopian Coffee Shop

wow! we had an amazing experience at Melaku. The owner and cashier were so kind and welcoming. The injera arrived very fast and it was SO delicious 😋 the ambiance is gorgeous as well!

A warm and welcoming place with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was incredible. Friendly, attentive, and truly engaging, which made the whole experience even more special. It was beautiful to see Ethiopian culture being shared in such a genuine and memorable way, turning a meal into a real experience. The food was delicious, the drinks complemented everything perfectly, and the coffee ritual, starting with the aroma before tasting, was a highlight. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stumbled upon this cafe by chance, and it turned out to be a true hidden gem. The space is very thoughtfully decorated cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. The owner and her daughter were incredibly sweet and took the time to ask what we liked, making sure the coffee they suggested was perfectly tailored to our taste. You can really feel the care and love they put into both the cafe and the experience. We’ll definitely be back ❤️

I visited this café today and had an absolutely amazing experience. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and perfectly decorated. As a student studying for finals, I found it to be an ideal spot to focus: quiet enough to get work done, yet lively in a way that keeps you motivated.

The coffee was excellent, rich in flavor and clearly made with care. I ended up staying longer than planned just because it was such a comfortable and productive space.

I would definitely recommend this café to everyone, whether you’re looking for a place to study, relax, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Had a fantastic experience here. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The decor is really beatiful too. My chai latte was delicious and spiced very well. The ginger cookie was soft and tasty (I ate in under a minute it was so good). All in all I would definitely recommend visiting this cute local shop!
