Glen’s Chip Wagon

Very good chip wagon and a local favorite. The German sausage is amazing and the fries are really fresh and crispy. I tried a burger once and it was soso, the German sausage and fries is the best choice. iMHO

I had a craving for chip wagon fries. I chose Glen’s because it is still unashamedly a chip truck, not a gourmet food truck. It turns out they only accept cash and I didn’t have enough. They gave me the fries free and were happy to do so. I’m enjoying the fries as much as I’d hoped. In fact, generous people made it an even more enjoyable experience.

It’s a sweeter potato but I like it that way! We go poutines and hotdog and I will be back, it’s tasty, gravy is nice thick and brown and tasteful and the cheese is the squeaky salty 🙂 I recommend!

Very fair prices with mediocre quality burgers and pretty good poutine 🍟🍔.I went due to high rating but was surprisingly disappointed.

Poutine (3.6/5) – fries had good flavor but were slightly overcooked, curds were good but the gravy could have had much better flavor.

Burger (3.1/5) – burger bun was the best part; the burger patty was of questionable quality and seemed like it had more fat/filler than meat.

Honestly, the best chips (fries) I’ve ever had and I’m not talking about just chip trucks in general, I mean anywhere. Stop by if you’re in the area! They also have great sausages. Definitely recommended.
