Food was good everything had a unique flavors, their menu selection is also different. Service is little slow and they charged $7 per bottle for sparkling water (not perier or any branded bottle) which was not mentioned in the menu neither our server informed. We didn’t expected this as the food is already costly and they don’t provide rice or naan with main course. Baked yogurt was really good.

We went with our 5 month old baby and honestly, the staff was so kind. They gave us the most private place in the restaurant and the staff loved waving and playing with the baby.

In addition, everything tasted amazing. The na’an was almost croissant-lime and blew my mind. The Goan Shrimp and yucca really crushed it. I had a moonshine lassi and it really hit.

Visited for a friend’s birthday, and had a nice meal. Staff were very friendly, and kindly brought out a birthday dessert for my friend.
Mushroom croquettes were just okay. Really didn’t get that mushroom flavour.
The Kerala fried chicken was very good.
The shrimp mango curry tasted really great, lots of nice flavours.
The lamb biryani was beautifully presented, we loved the tiffin. The rice was cooked nicely and flavoured well but unfortunately the lamb was very dry and hard to eat.

We were really nervous to try an Indian restaurant for our first time, but the staff at the Coconut Lagoon made it great! The service was tremendous, the decor was modern and classy and the food was awesome! We did the 7-course tasting menu and it was really good with bigger portions than we expected. My favorite was the shrimp course. Definitely recommend this place if you are interested in fine dining and Indian cuisine.

I dined at this place tonight with my friends and we absolutely loved it. Their food was so fresh and the presentation was top notch. It’s undoubtedly the best Kerala restaurant in Ottawa. Every dish they served was scrumptious. Would recommend this to any person who misses authentic Kerala food. I am not a person who reviews often but when I took the first bite of the dish I ordered I decided I was going to leave a review. I have tried all the other Kerala restaurants and they are nothing close to this place. Even the ambiance was so heartwarming.

Beautiful, clean, and modern restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service is excellent from start to finish, with staff who make you feel truly cared for. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. A wonderful experience overall and I highly recommended!
