Pie Rogues

The hand pies are delicious. Tried the scallion, rice and egg pie yesterday. Absolutely mouth watering. Also a huge fan of the potato mushroom as well. Every item is a winner.

I’ve been visiting Pie Rogues at markets and the small pick up storefront in Centretown for a few months now, and these are sooo good. I cannot put into words how fluffy and delicious these pies are (I was literally speechless the first time I had one), and the babka is to die for. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here. And if the deliciousness wasn’t reason enough, seasonal babka flavours give you something new to get excited about every few weeks!

Been looking for New York style chocolate babka for over 2 years here in Ottawa. Finally found my fix here at Pie Rogues. Excellent website, great service and amazing food! Will be coming back to try other things! 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I tried their chocolate babka for the first time at the Vegans who snack festival back in May and they’re one of the best pastries I’ve ever had! I’ve being getting them weekly at the park dale market. I also have been loving trying their rotating menu of fruit babkas. I tried the plum jam bun tonight and it was delicious! Their savoury buns are also really good! Definitely a new favourite bakery of mine!

Pie Rogues had a booth at VegOttawa fest and their food was so good that it sold out quickly. I had the best babka that I’ve ever tasted in my life! One was chocolate, the other strawberry basil. I also had a savory little pie filled with lentils and chipotle.

I haven’t been to their storefront but based on what I’ve sampled, I would highly recommend checking it out.
