Honey Drip

There is a new dessert spot in Ottawa called Honey Drip (same location as Shawarma Palace), and I gave it a try today. (It has been there for months and never noticed it)

Fruit Ashta Plate
Absolutely delicious. The taste was amazing. It is not the traditional Lebanese ashta we are used to, but honestly, this is one of the best Canadian-style ashta I have had. Tip: keep the ashta covered so it maintains its temperature. Highly recommended.

Dubai Strawberry Cup
Really nice flavor overall. It just needs a different type of chocolate. The current chocolate hardens very quickly, so you either eat it immediately or it becomes difficult to enjoy. Still, I recommend it.

Choco Crepe
I did not try this one myself, but my son loved it and strongly recommends it.

Chavo Cado
This one has potential but needs some improvement. Instead of using chocolate only as a top layer, it would be better to use Nutella and lightly coat the entire cup. Also, the avocado mixture needs more sweetness — adding some condensed milk would make a big difference (thank me later 😂).

There is definitely room for improvement, but Honey Drip can easily compete with other dessert spots in the area. I will be going back to try more items.

Located inside Shawarma Palace, this place offers truly authentic Lebanese desserts. I was grateful to see almonds and pistachios used generously, which really enhances the authenticity and quality. The ashta is the original version, flavored with blossom water, and it was absolutely delicious. The crepes looked and smelled amazing as well. The service was excellent—Chantal was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

It took me some time to find this place, it is inside the shawarma palace. I ordered a honey drip special cocktail, it was amazing, beautiful and delicious ! Service was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. I love the atmosphere of this place, cheerful and soothing

Such an amazing treat. My family and I ordered the Oreo milkshake, the Honey Drip Cup and the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup. They were all so amazing and fresh I would definitely recommend and enjoy there again.

Delicious Ashta Bowl from Honey Drip Orleans!
I tried the ashta plate from Honey Drip Orleans and it was absolutely amazing! The ashta was creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the honey drizzle. The fresh strawberries added a nice fruity touch, and the sprinkle of crushed pistachios gave it that extra crunch and flavor. Everything tasted super fresh and authentic. A perfect dessert for anyone who loves Middle Eastern-style sweets — highly recommended!
