椒点 JD Chinese Restaurant

The portion size is fair to good—definitely a big improvement over the previous owners—and it tastes good. I prefer it to Angry Dragonz on Lyon in terms of flavour, size, and price, although Angry Dragonz does have a little bit nicer dine-in atmosphere. Fingers crossed this place lasts, since this spot has changed owners four or five times in the last three years.

Very authentic Chinese dishes! Reasonable price with big plate of food. If you like spicy food, this place won’t let you disappointed. They also have non-spicy food, which is also very delicious. This place is my go to place when going to office in downtown🤤. I always order the combo. It comes with vegetables, rice, one fried egg, and one dish you order, for $20. I am a big eater but not able to finish every time. Highly recommend! Worth trying!

Highly recommend this restaurant! The tastes are very authentic from back home in China.

Had a big plate chicken 大盘鸡, and it tasted really good! Will be visiting again if I’m nearby.

A nice variety of authentic Chinese dishes at a very good price! Even comes with a pop!

What you see is the fried eggplants with grounded pork and a fish sauce. I will come again try other items on the menu, as what I saw on other tables looked delicious. Sorry for stalking other people’s meals.

Oh, and they have General Tao chicken and other North American Chinese meals if that’s what you prefer!

A new addition to Centretown, and it’s greatly welcomed! I like that this restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine but also Westernized Chinese cuisine too. Portions are very good and quality is great. Love their rice and beef with broccoli. Service is good and food is good. I’ve gone 2 times in a week. 😛
