A clean and well decorated restaurant with friendly service. Offers a wider variety of dishes than you can get at other Mexican restaurants in Ottawa, but are still high quality and delicious. The prices are about the same as you’d get at a chain sit-down restaurant, but with WAY WAY WAY better quality.

Terrible… this place I used to order it was good. Now…. Always terrible. Soggy, not the usually ingredients you order in their signature soups etc. empanadas soggy not cooked.. the soup this time that I ordered before was good. Now this time tasted like chicken and potato skins boiled in water was the most disgusting thing I threw it out. And do not get the veggie empanada either was horrible omg… does not taste authentic maybe new cook? Making it terrible never picking up food from here again. 48$ for watery chicken and potato skins boiled soup instead of there supposed to be corn and potato chunks and veggies in it. Terrible gross

Absolutely delicious authentic Mexican food! Our Mexican friend was impressed. Salsas are so tasty, good depth of flavour and a HUGE variety of dishes! Vegan and vegetarian options are also so tasty! Can’t wait to come again. I got the Quesa Birria and my mouth was dancing with happiness

I always like to frequent authentic Mexican restaurants in Ottawa, and this one is good! The food was delicious, a bit overpriced for the quantity, but good. The seating is a little limited, so I would avoid going if you’re a full group because you’re not guaranteed to have seat. The atmosphere was good, clean spot with clean facilities. Overall would recommend this spot!

I don’t appreciate the fact that there is a big sign in front that advertises a $15 breakfast special, but when you arrive and sit-down, the waiter informs you there is in fact no special, no huevos for you!!! We’ve walked down Somerset many times and have seen the sign and finally decided to try it last Sunday, there was no breakfast. We were already there and were not keen on going anywhere else, so we decided okay we might as well just order from the lunch menu, because the place has to have good tacos right? That could probably make up for not receiving my huevos rancheros and instead having to munch on mole chicken tacos at 10am right? Wrong!! My girlfriend’s tacos were good, but mine were bland, cold and the mole chicken tasted like it was made the night before. Disappointed! It was pretty outside though.
