Spark Beer & Pizza

Had my first solo show here in participation with 2025 Chinatown REMIXED Art Festival and fell in love with the space AND menu! Best east coast donair I’ve had since moving to Canada (I lived in NB for 4 years for reference); great beer and super friendly staff.

This our go-to beer and pizza place in Ottawa. The most selection when it comes to sour beers in the city, and the pizza is quite tasty too!

We swear by the “Number One Pizza In Heaven” and either “Good Good Times” or “Schroom With A View” for the vegetarian option for myself.

Excellent comfy furniture, great music, killer vibe, we are big fans!

Amazing beer, had a Peach IPA called Movin To the Country and a Sour Berry called Voices Carry Rockberry. Also had a Espresso and Stout Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream that tasty heavenly. Love the service. They said they have tours of their brewery as well though wasn’t up for that today. Great place with comfortable seating in Chinatown Ottawa.

Met a friend here for a few beers on a Friday late afternoon. Nice and friendly staff, it wasn’t very busy so we chatted a bit. The beers were fine, without being overly pretentious or wild, except maybe the slushy, but it’s not my cup of tea. I liked the Czech style lager. We ordered a snack of cheese pizza with donair sauce, it was delicious. Prices are on par with most local brewpubs, and there’s a parking lot ($) nearby.

I found this place by accident. Actually, while I was passing by the street, the smell of fresh pizza caught my attention, and I just followed it, just like in an animation. 😬

The bar’s atmosphere is lovely, quiet, and full of different light sources, plants, and cute chairs.
The staff look great and professional.

Omg… the beer! I’m not a beer fan, so at first I refused to order one. But after tasting a sip of my husband’s beer, I changed my mind and ordered this pink sour beer, which tasted amazing.

The pizza was incredible, the tomato and zaatar had such a sharp, delicious flavor!

I definitely recommend this local bar and will come back again for sure
