I haven’t had much Brazilian food, but this is clearly a hidden gem. One bite is enough to make the flavors stick in your memory. There’s a tremendous difference between ‘good’ and ‘truly excellent’ food — the latter usually requires several times more effort, and you can feel that effort here. The quality of the ingredients and the care put into seasoning and marination really stand out. The chefs here are clearly talented people who strive for perfection. Respect to the kitchen team.

Fantastic curry, with real curry leaves and the fresh fragrance of coconut cream. Can’t wait to come back and try their green curry.

The pad see ew noodles were bouncy, and the beef was a tad bit dry but very flavourful. The house chili sauce was delicious with it, very garlicky and spicy.

Their unique app stuffed chicken wings is a must try, and very reminiscent of others I’ve had in south east Asia. The dipping sauce has a kick but the sweetness is plenty to temper it down.

Thai milk tea has such a beautiful layer of foam, and the yuzu mojito is quite refreshing alongside the heavy curry.

Can’t wait to come back and try their other menu items!! Perfect for date night, and can confirm their office catering is delicious.

Last night I had crispy duck curry soup because another customer left a very good review about this dish. The meat of duck tasted very tender but I didn’t find any crispy skin of duck. Maybe should just call it curry duck soup without crispy taste. In general, the dish i ordered tasted good. I recommended.

I have been coming to Sweet Basil with my partner and friends for the last 3 years. Every time I go, I am never disappointed! The owner, Alain, and the team are so sweet, and do an exceptional job: the service is fast, the food is delicious and the vibe of the place is really great. It feels very personable and the food is out of this world. The sweet basil fish is amazing , and the chicken spring rolls are a #1 choice!! I always recommend it to friends. The restaurant can be a busy and active, and also intimate and quiet, so it’s really the best place for a variety of occasions, i’ve had birthdays dinners, solo lunches and dates here,, 5 star place without a doubt 🙂
