Pür & Simple

This is a fabulous brunch spot, expect a long wait if you come on a weekend but given that the food is really good Im not surprised. Went with friends on Sunday and ending up waiting like 45 mins, but once we were seated, Service was great and the food didn’t take too long to arrive.
Everything tasted amazing, our server was really good, overall a great experience.

We got the kimchi skillet, the chicken and waffles and the avocado lox toast, everything was great and fresh and looked made from scratch.

Food tasted cheap
Everything had store bought chemical pesto sauce (which doesn’t go well with omlet)
Eggs were dry . So were potatoes
I was fooled by the good reviews
Honestly eating enywhere in ottawa would’ve been a better idea
Service was quick and efficient
Other than that the restaurant was too crowded, too loud, cold and windy

Food is delicious, but portions are misleadingly small. My skillet was smaller than my hand. Juice is $4 but it’s the same as from the grocery store across the street. Smoothies are $8 same size as juice. Coffee is smaller than a small coffee anywhere else. With these prices, you’d expect them to give you more of everything. Plates are $20-$30. They miscooked my eggs. Seats are a bit uncomfortable.

Had an amazing morning here and my only regret is not coming here sooner. Our waiter Elijah was very friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with the kimchi eggs Benedict and rainbow pancakes I got! Will definitely be back!

The perfect spot for breakfast, we had a mimosa, coffee and breakfast. They all tasted amazing, with no complaints whatsoever. The fruits were so fresh! Highly recommended; I see this place becoming a regular.

Came here for brunch yesterday with my partner. I’ve been to another Pür & Simple location and this was my first time at this one.

We got there at ~11:30am and had to wait about 20 minutes before we could be seated (they don’t take reservations on the weekend). They were fairly busy so our waitress (Julia) did take some time to get our orders in, which we didn’t really mind. I ordered the coconut/pineapple smoothie and my partner ordered the strawberry and banana smoothie and a latte. To eat, I got the coconut crunch french toast and my partner got the oh la la crepe. The portions were reasonable for what we paid for and we were both quickly satisfied (and even had leftovers).

Had a great time overall and would definitely come back again!

The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. But what truly made the experience special was my server, Alisha. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her energy and professionalism really stood out, and she made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place, and if you get Alisha as your server, consider yourself lucky!
