I was really disappointed with my visit. The atmosphere was nice and the service was okay, but unfortunately the food did not meet expectations at all.

We paid $22 for four very small dips, and the pita bread that came with them was burnt. When we asked for another plate of pita, the new ones arrived undercooked — we were honestly shocked.

We then ordered a souvlaki plate with vegetables, Greek potatoes, and rice. I have rarely had food this dry. The meat was overcooked and under-seasoned, the Greek potatoes were dry and missing the usual lemon-olive oil sauce you normally get with proper Greek “patates,” the rice was extremely dry, and the vegetables tasted like frozen vegetables.

Overall, very disappointing. For a Greek dining experience, there are definitely much better restaurants out there. I would not recommend

Happy to write that the experience was incredible. There were 3 of us adults and I was treating my best friends. Gentleman had the special of the day which was steak and it was perfect he said. One of the best meals he has had in a restaurant. My lady friend had the shrimp and scallops with veggies, rice and Greek potatoes. I had the chicken stuffed with spinach. All the food was delicious and it is now our favourite restaurant. I was treating them . The bill was $204 including alcoholic drinks and coffees.

One of few great treasures of Barrhaven. It is a small family business that is tucked away, but is definitely a must visit place. Food was well cooked, well seasoned. Pasta felt like it was made in house and perfectly done. The Lamb shank could be elevated more, but still a very homey dish. The scallops were the best I’ve had for a while. And the waitress servicing our table was very pleasant and attentive.
Definitely a recommended place to visit. Should reserve beforehand, the small restaurant was fairly full for a mid week dinner service.

Talk about everything course being delicious and well presented! Yummy!! From our appetizers to the dessert it was sooo delectable! Service was absolutely amazing as well, very patient and checked in to make sure everything was up to the standard. Highly recommend a reservation they do fill up quickly, as they are a smaller space. Great for friends, or date night!

What a great experience in Ottawa, thanks for keeping this place so good! I really recommend that restaurant, I’ve been to many places in Ottawa and this is by far one of the bests restaurants in town in my opinion. Everything is great and staff are friendly and happy to be working there. A great experience!

This restaurant is tucked into a strip mall on an otherwise busy suburban Ottawa roadway. Set your GPS and slow down. 4100 Strandherd Dr. You will get both quality and good service.
Greeted at the door with a “Good evening & welcome.” And you do feel welcomed. The menu is broad. Mostly traditional Greek dishes & some creative fusion options. My party fell into silence when the food arrived – because the flavours were that good.
The space is accessible, including the washrooms. Did not have any children in our party, so don’t know that part. The place is small and cozy. I suggest you call to make a reservation. And bring an appetite because servings are generous

Pinelopi’s Greek Kitchen is an absolute gem! From start to finish, our experience was fantastic — the service was second to none. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every part of our meal. You can really tell they care about their guests.

We kicked things off with the flaming saganaki, and wow — not only was it a fun presentation, but it was perfectly gooey, salty, and delicious. Definitely a must-try!

Their drink selection was surprisingly extensive, with a great mix of cocktails, wine, and Greek favourites — all reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise for the quality. Everyone in our group ended up ordering pasta dishes, and each one was fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference.

The space itself is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that balances a cozy, modern feel with traditional Greek touches. The only thing missing is a patio — it would be lovely to enjoy those amazing dishes outdoors in the summer! But even without it, this place shines. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We were hungry but were not in the mood to cook. So I looked up restaurants in the area and found this one. The restaurant was almost packed but we managed to get a table. The customer service was friendly and quick. We all had the Souvlaki and it was tender and moist. The Greek salad was delicious and fresh and the potatoes and rice were tasty. We shared Chef Daniel’s cheesecake and it was superb. I also had a coffee with the baklava which was superb. Going back is a done deal!
