Meet Noodle 又见壹面

I’ve visited this place a couple of times now, and stopped by again tonight. The food was consistently good across all my visits, with flavours that feel wonderfully familiar—almost like something from my hometown. It’s comforting, satisfying, and always hits the spot after a long day. A reliable spot for a hearty bowl of noodles and a taste that feels close to home.

This is one of my favourite places to go for food when it’s late and freezing outside. The flavour of the soups are just right, the texture of the noodles is wonderfully chewy, and the portions are huge. During summer, the cold chicken noodles are my favourite. This is a solid, tasty pick for classic Chinese hand-pulled noodles.

Friendly staff and awesome noodles. Noodles made to order. The beef was thinly sliced but tender. Broth was nice and warm for a cold day. The noodle and broth portion was huge. I left very full.

I liked thw cucumber salad too nicely crispy and spiced.

This is the third restaurant in downtown Ottawa I know where they make hand pulled noodles. I find the portion size and amount of meat inside probably the best. They all taste great though. I love having options and considering how contently it is located, its definitely on my radar for future visits. I would only recommend getting thinner noodles as I found even the regular ones to be a bit thick.

We visited Meet Noodle in downtown Ottawa for dinner, and it was our first time here. We originally chose this spot because it was close to our hotel, but we ended up being genuinely impressed. They make the noodles right in front of you, and you can really see the skill and hard work that goes into it. Big respect to the man making the noodles all day — it’s not easy, and he does an amazing job.
The dishes were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The team was also very nice and genuinely sweet, which made the experience even better.
We were really impressed by this place and will definitely be coming back!

Great value for your money. The broth is tasty especially with the extra spice they add to it (not very spicy-mostly flavourful) the portions used to be a bit bigger but I’m not mad that they are slightly smaller now since you may actually be able to finish your meal haha but did love having leftovers. Food is delicious, meat portion is small but good. Service is not that great, they will sit you quickly but they are not very attentive- tbh this doesn’t matter too much since you go for one thing… to eat lol. Overall would recommend and I’m definitely a regular!
