Kalinga Indian Cuisine

Food was all really excellent! We had the chicken 65 and gobi to start. Wow!! The best, and so flavorful. Ordered the lamb biryani, our waiter recommended the Kalinga biryani (they have at least 5 mutton biryanis).The tender peices just melted and the light flavorful rice was perfectly spiced. SAAG paneer was excellent.To try the different kinds of kebabs offered, we chose the mixed grill, 2 peices each of 4 different chicken specialities. All were delicious, perfectly cooked, moist and very flavorful. Portion sizes were more than reasonable, as were the prices. Very good value/quality. Attentive, kind service. One of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to !!

We had dinner at Kalinga Cuisines today and absolutely loved the food and overall experience. They had a special Sankranti- offer, and everything we tried was delicious, authentic, traditional food served on banana leave and well-prepared.

A special mention to Kush, our server — he was extremely polite, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. His service really added to the great dining experience.

We have been coming here for the past 6 months, at least 2–3 times every month, and the quality has always been consistently excellent. Somehow we kept forgetting to leave a review, but this time we definitely wanted to.

Amazing food, great service, warm handling, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely keep coming back.

I tried the jeera rice, chicken pepper fry, dal tadka, and chaas (yogurt drink), and everything was incredibly fresh and flavourful. The ambiance is wonderful, and I really appreciate that they prepare all their dishes without tasting salt. Their chaas was so good that I ended up ordering a second one!

The food has a comforting, home-cooked feel, yet the menu offers unique options that break away from the usual monotony you see in many Indian restaurants. They were fully packed during dinner, and I heard it’s a chef-owned restaurant — which explains the extra care and creativity in every dish.

It was also great to see so many native locals enjoying the food, which speaks volumes about the quality. I’ll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something truly different from the typical Indian restaurant experience.

I ordered Bhimavaram Chicken (Kalinga Special), Chicken Fry Piece Biryani, and Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani — and everything was absolutely delicious! The food was packed with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and served hot. The taste was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money.

The ambiance of the restaurant is also excellent — clean, welcoming, and gives a nice dining experience. Definitely one of the best places for Andhra-style food. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys rich and flavorful dishes!

Customer service was great from start to end. They make sure our visit was pleasant. But the review for the food is overrated. Every dish we ordered was too salty. Needed to ask for more water several times. Chinese fried noodles were mushy. The prices were reasonable though.
They are busy. We were there Sunday around 3:15 pm and started our order right away for our dinner. But we were told the Thali and soups were sold out.
3 stars because of great customer service.
