Came across this restaurant as it was trending and I would give it a solid 7.5/10. Service was amazing, atmosphere is great, and the food is good but not out of this world. Just to flag, the popular main dishes of this place are pork based.

We ordered the half and half with garlic and spicy bossam and the seafood pancake. I think the meats were a little under seasoned/under salted but the meats were cooked very well. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood pancake! It was fresh, crispy, and the portion size was perfect. Side dishes (lettuce, kimchi, and daikon) were fresh and tasty.

Hopefully business will be good and in the future this place has more options in meats or variety of dishes.

Absolutely loved the food. Definitely it was above and beyond! I was just passing by with friends, we were so hungry and just decided to try this place and we didn’t regret it! If you like Korean food, you must to come here!

Went here for the first time with friends and it was so worth being on the waitlist! We ordered the original half and half, as well as the special half and half (A7 spicy bossam and A3 garlic jokbal), along with kimchi bacon pancake and tteokbokki. Super flavourful. The meats were juicy and flavourful!

We visited on a Sunday and arrived at opening (11:28 AM), but the restaurant was already full. We managed to get the last window seats, which meant sitting in a straight line and wasn’t ideal for conversation. Otherwise, the wait would have been close to an hour. It took about 40 minutes for all the dishes to arrive, which was understandable given how busy it was with a constant flow of customers.
We ordered three dishes: A9 “Half and Half” (A3 + A7), B10 Korean Sausage with Offal, and Pork Bone Soup, and everything was excellent. The jokbal was tender and flavorful, the sausage and offal were very authentic, and the pork bone soup was rich and comforting. Everyone in our group was very satisfied with the food.
Despite being extremely busy, the service was still attentive and friendly. Highly recommended. If you’re coming on a weekend, arrive 5–10 minutes before opening to avoid long waits.

This is now my no.1 restaurant in Ottawa!! We waited for 50 mins on a weekday night, but it was totally worth it. The seafood pancake is to its perfection, lots of fresh seafood on crispy pancake with a tender inside. We ordered half & half for jokbal, ended up take home half the plate because the proportion is too good. Especially love the pickled radish, not too sour, very well balanced. The only thing is I wish the soup is not spicy 🥵 it’s even spicier than the spicy jokbal! Otherwise it tastes relly good.

I know their Toronto location for a long time, but still haven’t got a chance to check out, so I am super happy to know they opened this one in Ottawa! I wish there is more delicious & cheap restaurant like this around here 🫠

A friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant last night after we realized that the place we originally wanted to go to was closed—this was a happy accident!

We got there at around 7pm and all the tables were full so we sat at the high chairs towards the front. We ordered the A9 to share, which was a choice of doing a half and half of options A1-A8. Forgive me as I don’t know the proper terms for what we got but we ordered the pigs’ feet (what the chain is known for) and the braised pork, plus a side of white riceI’ve never had this kind of food before but I love trying new dishes so I was excited!

The meat already comes with a bunch of sides (lettuce, kimchi, soup, garlic, spicy peppers, etc), which we received first (along with the extra rice that I ordered). This made eating really fun as we made little lettuce wraps with different toppings. This way, you get a taste of the different flavour combinations as you can mix and match with all the sides! The food was really good overall. The meat was seasoned/cooked to perfection and all the sides were super fresh. The flavours blended really well together, making the whole dining experience enjoyable. After munching and yapping for nearly 2 hours, we were ready to go; and, we had extra food left over that we took to go. I don’t know if my pictures do the food justice, but it’s a lot of food that’s enough for even 3 people!

Anyways, by the time we were done, we were the last two customers left so we promptly got our bills and were on our way!

Overall, I had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, the interior is beautiful, and the service was great! For being open for only a few days, everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion 🙂

Everything was perfect! The meat was incredibly fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the service was amazing.
All the side dishes tasted fresh, and the kimchi was absolutely delicious.
We’ll definitely be back!
