Every time I visit Green Fresh Supermarket, Ottawa, I’m genuinely impressed! The store is huge, bright, and super clean with great lighting—shopping here always feels comfortable and enjoyable.
The produce section is outstanding: fresh fruits and vegetables in abundant variety. You’ll find things like fresh sugarcane stalks, piles of berries, citrus, and beautiful displays of tomatoes—just like in the photos. Everything looks high-quality and fresh.
The snack and imported goods aisle is fantastic too. I spotted classic rice rolls/rice crackers (the Yu Su Yuan brand with that nostalgic childhood flavor), Oreo cookies, all kinds of packaged candies, drinks, and more. Surprisingly, they even carry everyday items like 502 super glue—it’s truly a one-stop shop for both groceries and household essentials.
Prices are reasonable, products are fresh, and parking is convenient. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Asian ingredients—it’s hands-down the top Chinese/Asian supermarket in Ottawa! Will definitely be back soon

This Asian grocery offers a great variety of products at a very competitive price. Take for example the mushrooms, you can find different types that are not available in regular groceries, and at a very competitive price!

The meat section is wide and offers many types of cuts (meats and organs), whether you’re looking for fresh chicken, pork, beef, veal, lamb or others frozen options like pigeon, pheasant, goat or others.

The fresh full ducks are very affordable in comparison to chain groceries. Today you had good picks for around 25$, or smaller frozen ones for 20$.

The fresh seafood section includes live fish, crabs and lobsters, and many shellfish types (mussels, clams, sea snails, etc.). Today I got some belt fish and the employee was very helpful: he cleaned and cut it as requested, and showed the price before hand to ensure I was comfortable with the price of the item I choose.

They offer freshly prepared hot meals to go, sold by weight. Last time I tried it was good as expected.

This is not the best place for Asian fresh bakeries, but some options are still available.

Its my first time at a different green fresh and all I can say is that if green fresh was a mall, i’d be there everyday.
When i step into a green fresh, i want to buy soooo many things but i haven to restrain myself and they have a little food court????? 😩 so cool

A very decent Asian supermarket with a great variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I was really impressed by their fish, meats, and bakery sections. Quite a lot of good options there, and many things are on sale. I have found some new interesting deserts here to try.
