Foodinator 干饭人

Honestly, Foodinator has become my go-to Chinese spot in Ottawa. The flavors are just incredible—everything I’ve ordered has had that amazing, punchy taste that keeps me coming back. You definitely get your money’s worth here, too; the portions are huge, and the prices are seriously reasonable for the amount of food they pack in.
​The staff is another huge plus. They’re super friendly and actually take the time to give great recommendations if you’re stuck on what to pick. Plus, the service is impressively fast, so you aren’t sitting around forever waiting for your meal. It’s just a reliable, high-quality spot that never misses.

Really bad food. It tastes like mass produced soulless slop. The fried chicken was not freshly fried, the shrimp was not even deveined. It all tasted precooked. The anime theme is just social media bait, there’s no thematic dishes or anything. The menu is massive and you get your food within several minutes which is a red flag, there’s no way to maintain quality with a menu that big.

Great spot! Great food. I love going here with friends and family. Always quick and delicious. They have a meat volcano and crispy eggplant that’s my favorite.

They are also accommodating. My son has allergies and they made sure everything was safe for him to eat.

Don’t let the unusual name fool you, this is authentic cantonese food with good prices, portions, presentation and WOK-HEI! Service is extremely quick, and you can taste the heat. Not too spicy for us, but there was sweat on some caucasion brows.
The Flying Noodles, Crispy Eggplant and Crispy Beef were our favourites. Don’t bother with the Pad Thai noodles, which we found too sweet and ketchupy. The chinese food is where it’s at!

Food was very good! And what makes it really worth it is the price and large portion sizes!

The service was very good. The waiter was very attentive and polite. He also spoke many languages (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese).

The inside of the restaurant is clean, spacious, and cutely decorated. I loooove the SpongeBob food serving window 😆

It is kid friendly. They have high chairs and plates/bowls are plastic. The waiter was very nice to our toddler, waving and smiling at him, and was polite and patient even though our kid was a little bit messy with the food.

Great food! The food was incredibly good, especially the fried rice and intestines. It was very well seasoned and there is a very diverse menu. The spice was strong but powerful, especially the stir fry pot. There are also a lot of anime posters around, the servers were nice and it was a great atmosphere. would definitely come here again!
