Créole Sensations

I really enjoyed my griot lunch special. Rice was really good and the pork fresh and everything is like I remembered it in Haiti, except somehow the plantains are even tastier here.

I was generally satisfied with the presentation but my rice and chicken were not fresh made, I could tell it was reheated food, and rice was ‘going’ a bit. Everything else was as expected. Ordered a side of goat meat and had no complaints there, great job! The food tastes great, spices and flavor were on point for carribean food, and prices were good. Just serve it fresh to order, and you will get my 5 stars!. I will return for one more try.

Just finished my goat, rice, plantain, and macaroni plate from here and wow everything was absolutely delicious! Some of the best plantain I’ve had, the rice was perfect, the goat was very flavourful, and their sauce was delicious, I was full about half way through and still managed to stuff down the rest because it was so good! Definitely coming back

The restaurant itself has quite the unique and strangely funky smell inside, which some people may dislike.

The price was incredibly reasonable, for 10$ you get: rice, plantain and your choice of meat; fried chicken, marinated pork, vegetarian or meatballs.

My fiancée is half Haitian and few years ago he asked for authentic Haitian food for his bday, so I surprised him with Creole sensations and he loved it! Since then we have ordered from them multiple times because the service is always amazing and the food is so delicious and always fresh. Our go to order is the dozen accra (always crispy and has just the right kick of spice), the marinated pork combo plate (comes with pork, rice, macaroni salad, pikliz, plantain and gravy), and we get an extra mac salad on the side (it’s creamy and crunchy). Couldn’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for authentic Caribbean food! The owner is the sweetest lady and every single time we order from here has always been delicious!!
