Ordered the evening specials. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked, plentiful, served hot and well priced. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. House wine was very tasty and of good value. Atmosphere, while authentically Portuguese, could be “warmed” a bit to feel a bit more high-end in keeping with the quality of the food experience. We will be back.

What a fantastic gem we stumble on. My mother is in the residence across the street, and while I’ve always seen this over the past year, not once did I think to go in, till yesterday and man oh man… Talk about a new favourite.

From the first few steps, you’re met with friendly service. The atmosphere feels comfortable and family oriented…. But the food, my sweet baby Jesus! If it was socially acceptable to lick your plate clean, I would have been all over it. Truth be told, I probably would have without caring what people thought if I wasn’t with my wife.

Needless to say, it certainly won’t be the last time we go there. My only complaint and disappointment…. That we never went there earlier.

A little slice of heaven. The atmosphere when you walk in feels like family. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch! We stumbled across this place and I can honestly say from my first experience, its now a favourite. 😋🫶

First time trying Portuguese food and wasn’t disappointed. I got my fiancée and I combo #1. It came out to about $36 and it fed us for two days. The amount of rice you get is insane. The amount of chicken is great. Comes with a large salad and buns too. The value is certainly there. Where it lost me a bit was the salad was not very nice – pretty brown. The rice was unique in flavour – not terrible but unique. The chicken was the star – it was tender, flavourful and juicy. If you’re looking to feed 2-4 people for cheap this is a really good option. The staff were really nice as well. When I went early dinner – the vibe was very Portuguese speaking men sitting around eating and talking. The only woman there were the waitresses and myself ordering at the bar – I felt some eyes on me from the older men sitting which felt a bit odd. But I came and left with ease.

The food is amazing 😍. It is delicious and fresh! We ordered a wide range of dishes, including shrimp turnovers, Alentejo pork with clams and the shrimp dish. Also, our waiter, Adrian, and the owner, Manuel, were super friendly and attentive! Worth coming back!
