Gooney’s Casual Latin

We had such an amazing experience at Gooney’s Casual Latin! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming, fun, and full of good energy. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted authentic and made with care.

The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell they really care about their guests having a great time. The atmosphere is perfect whether you’re out with friends, family, or on a cute date night.

Definitely one of the best in Ottawa. Highly recommend if you’re craving amazing Latin flavors. 🌮✨

I came from Edmonton to Ottawa for just one day and was looking for a nice place to have coffee and a snack. I chose this coffee shop and I didn’t regret it at all.

Incredibly delicious “Gooney’s CLUB” sandwich and a great cappuccino. Everything was fresh, high quality and very tasty. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is on the level.

I will definitely save this location on the map and return during my next visit to Ottawa.

We were visiting Ottawa and went for breakfast. It was a cozy place, with friendly and real people, not fake smiles and corporate mandated.
We liked the food I’m general, unique take on sandwiches, yummy and delicious. I would have liked bakens crispier, that is about all my criticism.

We came here for breakfast and they were open early – for us coming from different timezone was like lunchtime.
We took some of the standard sandwiches from the board, I refused sauces and bad mistake, the tuna was difficult to swallow. My husband’s chicken sandwich was perfect.
The coffee and hot chocolate were also good.
We were impressed by the dessert – some soft biscuits filled with dolce de leche (a caramel tasting cream made of milk). Very good!
The service was also good. A place to return to.

If you haven’t been this is your sign to go! Very cute decor and place to eat. The people were very friendly and showed us what an Arepa was. The vibe overall was great and then the food being so flavourful and delicious on top just made it even better!

Read the reviews and decided to come and checked it out. Ordered Tuna sandwich on the white bread and I must say it was good..tuna was tasty and fresh. Good portion size reasonably priced which you normally don’t find these days. Good selection of bowls and sandwiches. Worth visiting
