Outstanding food. Fresh made bread. Best Shawarma chicken wrap I have had in Ottawa. Highly recommend. Super friendly. Don’t be put off by the location. Take out only, hole in the wall, but a definite treasure to bookmark.

Incredible Takeout Experience from Sabaya Shack!
I ordered takeout from Sabaya Shack, and I was honestly blown away. Even without dining in, the quality, flavor, and attention to detail were top-tier. The food was perfectly packaged — still hot, fresh, and beautifully presented when I opened it at home.
Every bite was packed with rich, authentic flavor. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking. The seasoning was spot on, and the portions were generous. It’s rare to find takeout that feels this satisfying and thoughtfully prepared.
Service was also excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient when I picked up my order, and everything was ready right on time. From start to finish, it was a smooth and pleasant experience.

We ordered their catering for an event and were amazed. Our attendees couldn’t get enough of their drumsticks and salad. The food is refreshing and flavourful, and the owner is a pleasure to speak to. They are professional and reliable, and mashallah they understood our needs very well. They are thorough with dietary restrictions. It was so tasty and very generous with portion.

We went to Sabaya on a whim. Had never been before. We got beef and lamb stews and a mango shake. The food was all really good. We didn’t realize there was nowhere to sit, so we ordered and waited on the car. We took the food to go and found a park picnic table nearby. The stew had spilled a bit in the bag. I think it would probably do this any time someone orders delivery.

Good overall, just didn’t realize there was nowhere to stay. 🙂

Can I Please have these samosas to go? I don’t even like samosas…but these?? I would gladly take a couple .

First off the dough so airy ,not oily and the filling…so good!

But back to the main event…
Don’t discount this place because it’s not the “fancy” areas. The hidden gems are those places that you wouldn’t know unless you heard about it!
