I’m writing this review because a staff member told me they would respond here. I normally don’t bother with reviews, even though I’ve shopped here for about five years. But I’ve had two disappointing experiences this year. Earlier this year, one of their products wouldn’t scan at checkout. Instead of resolving it quickly, they kept me standing there for a long time and then randomly assigned a price. Today, I bought a loaf of bread (the wrong type by mistake). When I returned about two hours later to exchange it for the correct one, the cashier was extremely rude. She didn’t seem to understand the difference between a refund and an exchange and kept pointing to an unclear refund policy posted on the wall. When I tried to explain, she suddenly said they don’t refund after two hours, then changed the story again and claimed the bread “looked open.” It felt dishonest and unprofessional. Since your staff said you would respond here, can you please share a link to your return/exchange policy for products?

African food store. Native foods available, snacks too. Must see for any sub-Saharan African in Ottawa.

I absolutely love this place! It’s hands down one of the best Afro creole grocery stores in the ottawa .The selection is amazing—whether you’re looking for authentic spices, tropical fruits, or specialty products, they’ve got it all. The meat and seafood section is particularly impressive, always fresh and high quality.

Not to mention, the in-store restaurant serves up some delicious dishes, perfect for grabbing a quick bite while you shop. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always willing to guide you to what you need. Plus, if you need to send or receive money, their Western Union service makes it super convenient.

Great place to get African food. They have pretty much everything, from fufu (cassava leaves) to goat meat and fish boxes. Fresh meat can be expensive compared to local supermarkets, so my family only goes there to buy specific African foods and goat meat.
