When you visit a place two days in a row – then it must be good. We went for the Wednesday Trivia and had such a good time that we went the day after for the Open Mic. This place has such a good vibe, and it’s like a big family gathering. On top of that, great beer, wine and very good food. We were the last ones in the trivia, and it didn’t matter, everyone there “just wants to have fun”. I can see how people keep coming back. …we are coming back!..

I have been hosting events at Stray Dog and collaborating with them for years. Everything they do is exceptional! Not only do they have some of the most tasty and exciting beers in Ottawa (always with a local small business flair), but their sense of community and helping others is second to none.

So much of what they do is to help the community grow by working with other organizations in meaningful ways. Mark, Alison and the rest of the team really are ‘in it’ for the right reasons.

Huge hearts who believe-in giving. And they are so good at supporting local live musicians. Always a pleasure to work with them through Sax Appeal Productions. Can’t wait to be back! Well-done, and thank you so much!

Super friendly for us and the dogs. The stout was amazing and the staff incredible. It made us want to live in Ottawa.

May 2023:Been going to this bar since its opening, and now it has grown to one of the best stages for local musicians in Orleans and Ottawa. I’ve tried the karaoke nights and now it’s my first time trying open night mic. Just an awesome night!!!

Feb 2020:We had the chili cook-off event on Sunday and it was amazing, this place serves some of the best beers I’ve ever had. Come on down and checked them out…bring your friends, bring your family, bring your dogs🐕. This is a pet friendly establishment.
