Grilled Shawarma

I was recommended to grilled Shawarma by a friend. The grilling is self takes a little bit of time so don’t be in a rush if you wanna grilled Shawarma. The flavours were good. The only downside is that the crispiness was gone by the time I got home with the hot stuff. I should’ve eaten it at right on the spot, but I had a toddler with me going crazy so I couldn’t do that. I also got a combo so I added potatoes with one of the sandwiches and a salad with the other. Unfortunately, The salad wasn’t that fresh. The potatoes were good though. I’ll be back to try the grilled Shawarma right there at the joint. I’m sure it would be so much better because it would be crispy. It was still pretty yummy at home too.

The taste is incredible juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crispy from the grill. I used to be a big fan of Shelby’s and Garlic & Onion, but after trying the crispy grilled beef sandwich and the crispy raj wrap, my opinion completely changed. This place is on another level.

The food quality is outstanding and worth every penny. I honestly hope they keep the taste and quality exactly like this. Highly recommended!

Food and service has been amazing as always. Can get a little busy at times but worth the wait for sure. Always happy to come back. My go to lately is the crispy sajj, I recommend everyone give it a try!

As the owner of a basement waterproofing and foundation repair business in Orleans (since 2008), I’m often on the road and need quality lunches. I’ve tried GS twice now (crispy shawarma on Saj both times) and can confidently say this is one of the best shawarmas in the city. The ingredients, flavours, attention to detail and customer service were off the charts. AB has built something special here and going to consider myself a regular from here on out. Well done to this team!

Got delivery to try out this place and woah!!! The portion size is HUGE! Chicken is perfectly seasoned , garlic sauce is not too overpowering, not super oily or greasy and a nice fresh salad.

I’m a real shawarma enthusiast, so when I heard that Grilled Shawarma in Orleans was blowing up on TikTok for their sandwiches, I had to check it out with my family. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right spot. The place is spotless, modern, and very inviting. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel like we were longtime customers.
We went straight for what they’re famous for — their grilled chicken shawarma sandwiches — and WOW, just wow! The chicken was perfectly grilled with a smoky flavor that hits you right away. Super juicy, well-seasoned, and wrapped with fresh bread that held everything together nicely. The garlic sauce was creamy and flavorful without overpowering the meat — honestly one of the best chicken shawarma sandwiches I’ve had in the city.
I also tried the beef shawarma, and it was tender and tasty with a nice mix of spices. For me, the chicken still wins, but the beef is definitely worth trying too.
We kept eyeing the plates coming out of the kitchen — huge portions, loaded with fresh toppings, and beautifully presented — so that’s absolutely what I’m coming back for next time.
If you live in Orleans or you’re just passing by and craving shawarma, don’t think twice. Grilled Shawarma is the place to go! Delicious food, amazing service, and great value — a true hidden gem that deserves all the hype.
