Red Door Provisions

I was really looking forward to Red Door’s move from 86 Beechwood to 110 Beechwood (in a new build condo building) so they would have more space, but IMO it completely ruined what it was that made Red Door great in the first place. It went from a cozy, intimate, friendly place with warm decor where you could chat with the baristas and have ample quiet time to do some work or read with excellent drinks. The new space is spartan and soulless, the people are now loud crowds. The usual staff could barely go fast enough, and it was a long wait to get drinks and food. Except for the same quality food and drinks, Red Door might was well be like any other large, impersonal Starbucks now. Community vibes are gone. Gentrification sucks. Sorry guys. I probably won’t be back again.

I reside in the neighborhood & I was so looking forward to visit your new location at 86 Beechwood.
Unfortunately I walked in to a cafeteria-like space void of any charm & cozy atmosphere. It didn’t entice me to stay and order food as I had intended. The only positive was Becca who took my coffee order. She was welcoming @ attentive. The coffee was okay but not great.I’m sad to say that I will not return. Best of luck.

We were three people who enjoyed coffee, grilled cheese and desserts. Nice place. Good service. A bit small but quaint.

Excellent flat white ☕ in a warm cozy space. Baristas are friendly to the neighbors and students, but not to the pets. Really appreciate the high quality coffee ☕ Flat white is not as good as what I used to drink in Seoul, but just the fact that they make it here is very inspiring. Pets can stay in the patio, baristas get annoyed by pets inside, which is fair.

They always have at least one vegetarian option for their grill cheese sandwhiches which is a perfect lunch. Some good coffee and teas and the cookies and pasteries are hard to resist.

The place gets busy at lunchtime so its nice to sit on the front or back patio outside.

This cute little café was a nice surprise. Tucked away in Beechwood the vegan chocolate square was delicious. I also had a laté with almond milk and it was fantastic. Will rerun for sure. The space inside is small so I could not eat in.

It’s been a while since I’ve come across a coffee shop that has it all; excellent service, great food, perfect coffee, and a very nice, clean, and simple vibe. It was my first time here and definitely won’t be my last. Our barista Dona was also incredibly nice and funny. She knew my father and I were sharing a Beechwood Grilled Cheese sandwich, which was excellent by the way, and pre cut and served it on two separate plates without being asked to. It was very refreshing to experience good quality and friendly service like that.
