Arlington Five

I spotted this place while running errands and I’m glad I did. Birdie, was the person who served me and made some great recommendations. The coffee is excellent, the food comforting, and somewhere you want to be when it’s cold outside. I’ll be back for more.

I love this little cafe off Bank st. I got a mocha latte and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect mocha, strong coffee and not too sweet. The staff are really friendly too. The seating is comfy (though it can get busy coz this place is quite popular), and the decor is cozy-perfect for a snowy day. Wish I’d visited sooner! 😊

Fine coffee! I tried the Blueberry Crumble Latte (hot), couldn’t really taste the blueberry tbh, might get the iced matcha version next time (despite it being almost $8!). Small and very busy when we went today, but cute atmosphere and cool workers and I would be delighted to use the patio when the weather warms up. Was tempted to try one of the muffins (about $5) and breakfast sandwichs ($12?). Pricing and coffee feels oon par with other coffee shops of that specific atmosphere/caliber.

Love the food, love the coffee. The staff are nice and get the job done. Arlington 5 has one of the better vegan sandwiches in Ottawa. This would be the perfect cafe except I wouldn’t sit inside again. The music was way too loud. I could hear it through my noise cancelling headphones, and it was annoying. I had a headache by the time I was finished my coffee.

First time trying their vanilla ice matcha. I was very satisfied with its quality, I can taste the matcha quite well and the colour is a nice dark green. Their sweetener isn’t very sweet so if you like your drink to taste sweeter I would advise to add some fruit purée like mango or strawberry. Otherwise their customer service was impeccable, the staff was really nice and the overall vibe of the cafe was great. They also have a patio which was a great surprise.
