Ottawa Naan

Ottawa Nan is an excellent place for authentic Persian bread. The quality of their bread is consistently very high, and you can really taste the freshness. Their sangak and taftoon are especially outstanding, baked properly, soft yet sturdy, and full of traditional flavor. It truly reminds me of the bread you’d find at a good bakery back home. You can tell they care about what they make. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fresh, traditional bread.

I purchased the sesame sangak- huge, delicious and cheap. It is so big you have to throw some of it in the freezer, because there are no preservatives – amazing!
I made a quick red lentil coconut Dahl for dipping. Put egg and grated cheese in the sangak. One of my fav breakfasts in Singapore.
Staff was so friendly – will be back regularly!

Ottawa Naan is a great spot. The quality of their sangak bread is very good. If you want to store it at home for a longer time, it’s best to cut it, freeze it, and then toast it when you’re ready to eat, it tastes fresh that way. The people working there are very kind and welcoming. There are only a few parking spots, but I’ve always managed to find one since customers come and go quickly. Highly recommended.

We visited Ottawa Naan and tried their Taftoon and Sangak bread and Halim. The bread was freshly baked straight out of the oven—warm, soft, and absolutely delicious. The Halim was incredible, rich in flavor, and perfectly cooked. The staff were also very kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking to try an authentic Iranian breakfast, this is the place to go—grab a bowl of Halim with freshly baked bread and enjoy a taste of heaven.
