Suya Royale Grill & Chill

I usually don’t give bad reviews but this is so you can do better , ordered goat Suya and asu , they both seem like it’s same , big chunk of asu and Suya , you guys gotta do better , the asu didn’t taste like asu , it’s very big chunk and dry . For the price , you guys gotta do better . The Goya Suya had no Suya spice on the side or even the goat Suya didn’t taste like goat Suya , just like fried or grilled goat meat with no Suya spice on it . Y’all just messed up with my taste bud .

Ordered a spicy beef suya for $26. The portions are way too small for that amount. See comparison witha small can of corn. The other locations you can get a better size and better taste.

Went for dinner w/ girlfriend at 6pm on a Sunday and were the only ones there. Server was super nice, helped us pick some menu items and offered us a deck of cards to play with while we waited for food and had a drink.

We ended up each getting a Jollof Rice Platter (1 chicken, 1 beef).

Everything about the food was bang-on. I never really liked plantains, but this place changed that. Coleslaw was great. The jollof rice, as I figured it would be, was amazing. Never had any kind of suya before but we both really enjoyed it and will definitely have it again.

Beef was nice and spicy (we asked for it), not too dry, and smoky. Chicken had one tiny dry piece but the drumsticks were cooked perfectly.

For what you get, the price is right. Did not leave hungry and had plenty to take home.

Definitely will be back!

The owner is genuinely a nice person, and his shawarma is excellent. However, when it comes to hosting events at the restaurant, there’s definitely room for improvement. The Independence Day party, unfortunately, was quite disorganized. It seemed the team took on more than they could handle — the space was overcrowded, waitstaff appeared confused, and guests were left waiting hungry for long periods.

I truly believe he has great potential and good intentions, but better planning and coordination are needed to ensure guests have a positive experience. This is Canada, and standards are understandably higher; organization and service must match the quality of food

The food was good . But for a first time eating Jollof rice . It was not taste as i was thinking.
Water is not free there . You need to pay for your water or bring your water . There is not customer service that can check if food is good or not . BTW keep going , and thanks you

Honestly the food is amazing! We ordered the jollof combo – goat and chicken. They were both seasoned so well. The jollof was flavorful! My favorite was the goat suya. Not tough, spice level was perfect and it was not dry. I highly recommend!
