Great ambiance, beautiful location and charisma. Nice selection of drinks (enjoyed their Penicillin!). The owner (Leanne) was extraordinarily friendly and passionate about the project and she made our night and made us want to return. Lounge Manifesto is beautiful.

When it comes to food, our only disappointment was the oysters (part of their special menu). They were warm and not served on ice. I wish spoons were provided to enjoy my usual mignonnette. It’s also always nice to know where the oysters are coming from.

We will be back to try the regular menu. Drinks in the lounge are definitely going to warrant a second visit as well.

Overall lovely place and owner, worth discovering!

Really gorgeous and unique venue! Felt very cozy. In addition to indoor seating, They have a bakery and coffee bar plus take home items.
I got their croissant French toast which tasted delicious was wasn’t very filling. Which coming in at over $20 was disappointment. That’s a bit too much to feel like I had a snack.

Hidden gem under an old church! Working Title (hopefully just a temporary name) is built right in the crypt of a historic stone church, and the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh baked bread welcomes you. The stone-arched entrance is impressive, and inside the decor is cozy, stylish, and full of character. The brunch menu has plenty of great options, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive. The unique atmosphere of dining in a former church makes the experience unforgettable — worth a visit for both the food and the vibe!

Discovered this place simply searching for coffee walking in the neighborhood. They do serve a good latté and the almond pain au chocolat was as delicious. But, I haven’t tried the restaurant yet.

They have a fairly large terrace alongside avenue Laurier and offer plenty of seating inside too. The staff was friendly. And it’s cool and unique that it’s located in a former church.

They certainly got me intrigued enough to go back for a full meal or High Tea.

This is a hidden gem in Ottawa.
My wife and I both had the Beef Wellington and it was excellent! Perfectly med rare beef in a lovely pastry, served with roasted veggies, and a demi-glace that was so good it was sinful.
Our friend had the lion’s mane mushroom steak that was beautifully presented. She must have enjoyed it as she cleaned her plate (as both my wife and I did).
