The Waverley Elgin

Dined at the Waverley as a medium sized (8) group with some classmates for a casual graduation dinner.

Food was good, drinks were good, and the service by our waiter Sarthak was wonderful. Thank you Sarthak for making our special night a little more special 🙂

The staff were very friendly, however I wouldn’t be going back to this restaurant. Our order was incorrect and after just accepting what was brought out since we were on a time crunch, we were still charged full price for that meal. The burger was dry and lacked taste/ condiments, and the pasta dish was nothing but sauce and two baguette slices. Quite disappointed.

2025- Another great visit with friends. A new menu with fantastic options. This place is always changing it up. Great 👍🏼

2024-Finally, Great to have excellent food. The 🍕 pizza is excellent 👌 you really need to try it out but then there is the Smoked meat 🍖 that is spectacular and sitting on the patio on Elgin you feel like you are in downtown Montreal. I need to shout out to the chicken fingers and fresh cut fries. Spectacular is all I can say for that. Go and enjoy, you won’t regret it.

Lovely chill, laid back, cozy vibe, wonderful staff and tasty cocktails, but that’s where the charm of this establishment ends. The food unfortunately disappointed us; the burger patty was dry and underwhelming, and the nachos confusingly had what tasted like marinara sauce.

If you’re looking to unwind with a drink or two in a chill atmosphere, this place will hit the right note. But if you’re seeking satisfying pub food, I recommend going elsewhere.

Came here for Mother’s Day and we all enjoyed our meal. I do want to mention that I didn’t like the calamari appetizer. The drinks were pretty good and the price was decent. The service was great and checked on us if everything was good a few times.
