The Hyde

I visited the Hyde for Valentine’s Day this year with my girlfriend and we were blown away by how nice it was. We dined off the regular menu I had the pork tomahawk and she had the burger, both were incredible, we’d go back just for the food. The highlight of the night, though, was the cocktails and the service. The bar is very well supplied and the cocktail menu is super creative, each drink we had was delicious and looked nice visually. The cherry on top was the bartender, Cam, very knowledgeable and skilled and just overall great service. At one point my girlfriend even commented on the quality of the flatware which just shows the level of care they put into the whole experience for the guests. On the pricier side but worth it for the night out. Great spot for a date.

Hosted a medium sized Wedding here, the “after party”… excellent food, drink, vibe and coordination. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. The perfect spot for your medium sized event (25-50 people). Staff were incredible, and management was flexible and prompt with requests. Book with confidence.

The bar is located in a nicest patio backyard garden of Ottawa. It was really cool. Loved the bartenders there. ❤️

I had the pleasure of being served by Cam with a friend at the hyde and I have to say, he made my experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, Cam was incredibly personable, engaging, and made us feel like a regular even though it was my first time. I had the Stranger Tides cocktail and I highly recommend it. The service was top notch and I highly recommend coming by when Cam is behind the bar, great drinks, great company!

What a great cocktail bar in downtown Ottawa! We went on Saturday with friends for pre-dinner drinks and loved the ambience and cocktails. Our bartender & server Cameron made us very delicious and amazing looking cocktails!! Must try – ‘Hyde in Byward’ gin cocktail. Loved the place. We didn’t try any food but saw some interesting options – we will be back soon!
