Sushi Taxi – Station Gatineau

La nourriture était excellente (surtout les entrées pizza au saumon). Tout était délicieux et c’est très accueillant. Bon service.

The food was excellent — the salmon pizza appetizer is absolutely delicious (it’s warm too!)
Everything was very good. Cozy ambiance and the cashier was so sweet(she took the time to explain the menu). Great service.

When I went in person, the sushi was adequate. Nothing amazing.

When I ordered over Ubereats, they sent me the stalest sushi they had. It tastes as though it has been sitting in the refrigerator for a whole day.

When I pay 100$ for sushi, I think there is an expectation that it is made fresh. This absolutely was not.

I’ve been a customer at sushi taxi for more than 20 years and I was extremely excited to have a location 3 hours closer to me… these are my recommendations of the best Sushi taxi has to offer: BUDDAH is my ultimate favourite, it is my favourite roll I’ve ever had at any sushi spot.
Maki: Geisha, Hawaii 5-0, Rocky, MANGO Coco, Kuruma, both Kamikaze, Crunchy Demoiselle and both Senpei options.

Hoso maki: honey tofu apple and haiku.
Sushi pizzas are quite delicious. All their sauces are amazing but the Sauce Taxi… yes please, always more. The favours and combinations are somewhat untraditional but are seriously something out of this world.
The service I received was excellent, at the end of my visit I met the owner and the amazing service continued. I recommend this location just as much as the old school Saint Sauveur location that has always kept their quality impeccable. I can’t wait for my next visit in 2 weeks. The 4 hour drive will be worth it every time I’m sure.

My wife and I have given this sushi place two chances, and both times we walked away disappointed. It’s already tough to find good sushi in the area, so we were really hoping this would be the one. Unfortunately, our most recent order sealed the deal.

The rice was undercooked and even crunchy in several of the maki rolls, and there was far too much of it compared to everything else. The fish portions were minimal, and the rolls were padded with odd fillers like lettuce, fruit, and what seemed to be sweet potato. On top of that, several rolls had an overwhelming amount of cream cheese, which threw off the flavor even more. The whole combination just felt off.

For the price, the quality is barely above grocery-store sushi. It felt like we were paying premium prices for oversized rice rolls with salad and cream cheese mixed in. Sadly, we won’t be ordering again.

My husband ordered sushi from this place. It was a take out. The sushi was excellent, so far the best I ever had. I like the concept and the packaging. There was a lot of variety for the family size we took. I wish there was more than 50 pieces for the price. I really recommend the place
